Or just scrolling below.)  Local, 100% family owed and operated.  Run by 2 generations and very soon to be a 3rd generation.  We are Design/Build custom home builders.  Building timeless, modern & minimal Scandinavian style timber frame homes in Northern MN.  We were inspired down this path by our father Paavo who came from Finland in the 1960’s.  He taught us love of nature, an eye for design, hard work, beauty, and craftsmanship.  And we’re passing everything we saw and learned to our kids, grandkids and of course you, our awesome customers.

So Nordic Builders understands customer satisfaction means absolutely everything. This is why we use natural, cream of the crop materials. . . eco-friendly, green, and sustainable building products.  Like locally harvested Minnesota white pine rough cut timber, steel, stone, concrete & exclusive techniques to provide our clients with a finished product that will last many decades (probably centuries if maintained) to come.

Our usual service area is around the Twin Ports, Duluth, Saginaw, Hermantown, Cloquet, Carlton, Esko, Wrenshall MN areas.  But we sometimes go as far north as Virginia MN and the Iron Range area.  And even up the North Shore towards Two Harbors & Grand Marais.  As well as, as far south as the Barnum, Moose Lake areas if the project is a good fit
